In 1940 there was no TV, video games, and the internet wasn’t even a thought. Instead, there were swing dances like the Lindy Hop, dressing up and going to the movie theater to see Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell in “His Girl Friday,” or days spent playing with your pea shooter or slinky.
There were only two groups you cared to belong to: The United States of America and your family. Families would gather around the supper table and then move around the radio to listen to Kate Smith or Arthur Godfrey. A gallon of gas and a loaf of bread both cost 11 cents, and for a quarter you could buy 3 cans of Campbells Tomato Soup. From the Ford Motor Company in 1940 emerged one of the most iconic Pickup trucks of all time… a body style that still turns heads today. Some even say it was the best design ever.
We have taken a beautifully restored 1940 Ford Pickup truck and married it to a customized Karmic Ice Cream freezer… The “Ultimate” Ice Cream Pickup truck. Can you hear the bells? We sure do! Bring our vintage 1940 truck to your next event and create the next great memory with your guests. Share an ice cream bar, a smile and lots of photos.
